Ledgerline

The Platform

Cash visibility, without the Monday scramble

Ledgerline pulls balances from every bank, entity and currency in the group, reconciles them against the ledger, and keeps a rolling forecast and covenant model on top. What your team assembles over two days, the platform has ready before anyone logs in.

13-week forecast — closing balance

Updated 4 minutes ago
  • Multi-entity by default

Report at group, division or single-entity level without maintaining a separate model for each. Intercompany balances net out where you tell them to.

  • Multi-currency positions

Hold balances in their own currency and translate at the rate you have chosen — spot, month-end or a hedged rate you enter yourself.

  • Forecast versus actual

Every forecast week is kept. When the position lands differently, Ledgerline shows which driver moved rather than just the total variance.

  • Alerts that matter

Thresholds on balances, covenant headroom and forecast breaches, delivered to the people who can act on them rather than to a shared inbox.

  • Full version history

Last quarter’s report reproduces exactly as it was sent, including the assumptions in force at the time.

  • Audit-ready evidence

Export the supporting statement lines behind any figure as a single pack when your auditors ask how the position was built.

How It Fits Together

Four surfaces, one set of numbers

Position, forecast, covenants and reporting all read from the same reconciled data. Nothing is re-keyed between them, so nothing disagrees.

A Monday Morning

What happens before you arrive

The weekly cash report is the deliverable most finance teams lose two days to. Here is the same job, run by the platform.

  1. 05:00

    Statements arrive

Overnight files land and open banking feeds refresh. Every line is classified against your cash flow categories and matched to expected items.

  2. 06:30

    The position rebuilds

Balances consolidate by entity, division and currency. Anything unmatched is flagged for a preparer rather than silently absorbed into a total.

  3. 07:00

    Forecast and covenants roll forward

Last week drops off, a new week 13 is added, and actuals replace forecast for the week just closed. Covenant headroom is recalculated on the new numbers.

  4. 07:30

    The report goes out

Position, movement, forecast and variance commentary are assembled into your template and sent to the distribution list — before the finance team opens a laptop.

Connectivity

Your banks, your ledger, your processors

  • General ledger & ERP

Read balances, open items and cost centres straight from your general ledger, and write reconciled cash entries back to it.

  • Open banking feeds

Authorised account information access across UK and EEA banks, refreshed through the day rather than once overnight.

  • Bank statement files

CAMT.053, MT940 and BAI2 statements collected and parsed automatically for banks that do not offer an API.

  • Payment initiation

Release approved payment runs over your bank’s host-to-host or open banking channel, with dual authorisation preserved.

  • Card acquirers & PSPs

Settlement and fee reports from your card acquirers and payment service providers, matched to the credit that lands in the bank.

  • Accounts payable

Approved invoices and payment runs feed the forecast the moment they are scheduled, not when they clear.

Connections are configured by our implementation team during onboarding, using the banking standards and accounting systems you already run. Most groups are reporting a live position within three weeks.
